CareerGPS…

INFORMS Students of Their Career & Education Options

To prosper in today’s knowledge based economy, the Capital Region must equip our residents and youth with the knowledge and skills they need to compete and succeed in the 21st Century. To advance and sustain our region’s economy, it is imperative that youth invest time and resources effectively in pursuit of their career.

ENGAGES Students in Navigating Their Futures

CareerGPS is an interactive, engaging career exploration program managed by LEED that helps students in the Capital Region place their education within the context of a potential career and education pathway. At Career GPS, students “navigate their futures” by learning where they’d like to go in life and how they can get there.

INSPIRES Meaningful Experiences for all Participants

Students are excited to learn about a variety of career options and education pathways. Teachers value the high quality career exploration experience that complements educational objectives. Employers engage with students in a meaningful way and play a key role in developing their industries’ future talent pipeline.
